JEAN SMITH
JEAN SMITH
I have been working predominately with clay since 1990, and in the flower theme for about half of that time. The two plaques are tiled on wood so they can hang on the wall. The wallflower can be put on a nail on the wall. I also do sculptural pieces for pedestals.
Another love of mine is the Polaroid transfer. This is a dying art form as Polaroid has discontinued making the film. Come to my current show to see the last of my images.
I recently started making jewelry which I find exciting and satisfying. I usually make a necklace, bracelet, and earrings with the same theme.
More images of my work can be seen on my website.
My studio is on the Dry Ice Factory 3300 Walnut St., Denver 80205
